Danielle Foster, ANWI
Danielle is an Associate Nose Work Instructor and an ACSW Judge
Danielle first heard about Nose Work in 2019 but didn’t start classes until after she moved back to Sydney in 2020 and got her first Beagle, Remy. Remy being a COVID puppy, made doing Nose Work even more rewarding seeing the confidence that it gave him. It didn’t take too long before she added her second Beagle, Parker and rescued her third, Cosmo in 2023.
Danielle actively competes in ACSW and ANKC trials with her beagles and admits she may be addicted to the sport. Danielle is a strong advocate for the sport, seeing first hand the transformation that it can have on nervous/reactive dogs, and loves watching what dog’s do best, using their nose. This is what motivated her to become a K9 Nose Work® Instructor and an ACSW Level 1 Judge.
About: Originally from Tasmania, Danielle grew up around the conformation show ring and dabbled in showing herself with her first dog Arnie, a Siberian Husky and Flynn, the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.
Danielle moved to Sydney in 2009, after getting a transfer through work. She has worked in the Finance industry for 17 years. When not doing all things Nose Work, she competes in other dog sports with her boys. Otherwise you can find her catching up with friends for group dog walks, or chilling at home trying to catch up on tv shows.
