Holly is a Certified Nose Work Instructor (CNWI™) and an ACSW Level 1 judge, who has been teaching in the Sydney region with K9 Nose Time Pty Ltd since 2022. 

She has many years of experience instructing people and animals, starting her career with
animals as a horse riding instructor in England. On returning to Australia, she decided to concentrate on dog training in her spare time.
It was only after attending her first K9 Nose Time class with her late Irish Wolfhound (Tilly) in 2016 that she saw how powerful this sport can be in growing and enhancing your relationship with your dog as you learn together as a team. “I discovered this fun activity that we could do anywhere. That provided mental enrichment and had the ability to increase my sighthounds desire and passion to harness her sense of smell.” Unfortunately, Tilly was an older dog that passed away before they could progress too far with the sport.

In 2020, Holly enrolled her young dog, a Leonberger called Mocha, into a K9 Nose Time class. She instantly became captivated with the sport again and enrolled her second puppy, a Landseer ECT called Piper, into classes as soon as she was old enough. “Watching how this sport had such a positive impact on all the dogs in class was inspiring”. Soon after returning to the sport Holly enrolled in the NACSW Instructor course so she could hopefully instill in others the same passion she has for this sport and the benefits it can bring to so many. “I love watching each team progress on their individual journey in this amazing sport”.

Holly competes in both ACSW and ANKC trials, as well as the conformation (show) ring. She also trains in Agility and Drafting. Outside of Nose Work, Holly works in the Not-For-Profit sector as a Regular Giving Manager for a Children’s Charity.
