Intro to K9 Nose Work 1 – Dog Focus
Intro Series
Teams will compete two consecutive intro terms. The first 4 weeks focus on building the dogs foundation skills. Next four weeks introduce handler skills.
Intro to K9 Nose Work 2 – Handler Focus
Intro Series
Teams will compete two consecutive intro terms. The first 4 weeks focus on building the dogs foundation skills. Next four weeks introduce handler skills.
Intro to Odour 2 Anise/Clove
Intro Series
Suitable for dogs that have completed Intro Odour (Birch). There are two Intro to Odour Sessions. The first four weeks will focus on introducing the dogs to Birch. The second four weeks introduce the dogs to Anise and Clove.
3 Hide Puzzles: Triple Treat
Odour Odyssey
Designed for dogs who are proficient on all sport odours, this class focuses on:
Topics covered include: odour movement, understanding search environments, how to set appropriate challenges, handler mechanics, covering a search area, converging odour, hides in multiple planes, layered challenges.
Handling Skills
Essential Skills
Designed for dogs who are proficient on all sport odours, this class focuses on:

Building partnership through the lead.

NW2, NW3 Excellent & Masters
Skills Progression
Designed for dogs who are proficient on all sport odours, this class focuses on:
Transitioning between hides, start line routines and strategies, intentional handling, strategies for NW2, NW3, Excellent and Masters. Confidence and stability at the higher levels.

Auditors Welcome
Topics covered include: How to set appropriate challenges, handler mechanics when training on your own, search area analysis and selection, hides in multiple planes, layered challenges. Including trial review focus.
